First, i dont know why i like to learn this knowledge. I just hope i can understand why some people interest to study and believe mysticism. So i try to find some books to find about this knowledge. In Indonesia there are many mystical knowledges, such as santet, pelet, kanuragan, magic, saefi etc. I dont want to explain into all details, but i just want to share how it works.
Mystical knowledge is an irrational knowledge, you know why?. because the correlation of cause and effect can't be understood by human ratio. Sometimes mystical knowledge has empirical evidence, but majority can't be evidenced by empirical. Of course it confusing, because this knowledge is trancendent so its out of human brain.
How to get this knowledge?, in Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tafsir's book explained, to get this knowledge you must do some practices, like fasting, make offering and read mantra. Its not easy, person who want to get this knowledge must be very patient. For example, in jangjawokan knowledge. One of the jangjawokan functions is Asihan. Sunda's people believe if asihan can change human heart, from nothing become love. So this is step to do asihan from jangjawokan.
This is the mantra
" inna kulli syai'in qadir
rohku, cahayaku, yusuf
mukaku muka Ali
badanku badan Muhammad
barang siapa yang melihatku tolong ambilkan si... (nama perempuan) binti ...(nama ayah perempuan)
tolong antar samaku hatinya si ... (nama perempuan) binti ...(nama ayah perempuan)
laa ilaaha illallahi Muhammad Rasulullah
This practice required : Monday-Thursday fasting each seven times, the mantra must be read 35 times before sleep every night.
Ok, i think my brief explanation is enough. Actually i believe that practice work, but i will never do that. Because its forbidden in my religion. Haha
